Highly recommend RKA kickboxing academy. The range of classes is huge- to suit anyone that wants to give this a go. I started with the family class, and at almost 40, have now joined the fight team, all thanks to the guidance, support and help from some highly experienced coaches. The confidence boost this gives you is unbelievable- give it a go, you won’t regret it!
Been a member for almost a year now. I was hesitant to join being a bigger person. But this club was welcoming and all members are very helpful when training. Coaches are also very encouraging and supportive. If you wish to start your martial arts journey, try a taster session and like me, you might not look back.
Got into kickboxing just over 3 years ago now, because I knew someone that went and thought why not give it a go. Comfortably the best thing I have ever done for my mental and physical health in the last 3 years. These guys are incredible. I walked in there with my mental health issues and previous injuries, expecting to be told this wasn't for me. And they PROVED ME WRONG. The coaching team here have rebuilt my self esteem and self confidence. They have made me feel strong and brave. They have given me discipline and strength. They have taught me how to take care of myself and keep myself safe. I love attending all the classes but the women's only class is taught by one of the most inspirational people I have ever met, who strives to prove to all us girls that we can do it just as good, we can hit just as hard and we can be just as powerful as the men, and we can do it in pink. This dojo is an amazing place, that is accepting and caring that builds you up and cares for you when you're down. This is a community of people who look out for each other and look after each other and accept each other.
100% recommend RKA Kickboxing Academy to anyone that is looking to learn a new martial art, get some fitness or train a new discipline. The family owned business runs through all the way from the top, through the coaches and to the students as there is definitely a feeling of being part of a family every time I go. I joined nearly 2 years ago and both me and my sons love attending the classes, pushing ourselves as hard as we can and being guided/supported along the way by all the RKA team. Great atmosphere, fantastic classes, brilliant coaches and recommend giving it a try!
Great club, all the boys in my family go and love going don't ever want to miss a lesson we live in Lynn but travel to march 4 times a week to go to rka they go above and beyond for all there students and help them achieve anything they want to do my son Stephen now does fight shows and Stuart makes sure that they are completely 100 percent ready before entering them. All the coaching team are fabulous and we are like one big family. I would highly recommend to anyone.
